WEC has come to Mexico at a time when Latin America is waking up to its missionary call. Young churches are maturing and lifting their eyes to the spiritual harvest. The moment of God has come for Latin Americans to respond to His call to go into all the world. With the growing interest in missions in the churches, and among the youth, we are excited to participate in sending out Latin missionaries. Towards this goal we began the WEC Mexico Sending Base in the summer of 2006 with six candidates. These candidates have been called to Northern Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Mexico is the first Spanish-speaking Sending Base within WEC. We look forward to seeing God's love demonstrated to the nations through Latin American missionaries.  |
